Почему фибролитовые плиты подходят для акустических панелей

ACOUSTIC PANELS MADE OF WOOD WOOL CEMENT BOARDS

Acoustic panels are used wherever you want to create silence. On walls and ceilings are mounted special materials that protect the room from external sounds and do not pass sounds from the room outside.

They consist of sound-absorbing materials — rigid base and siding. Most often, WPB, gypsum board or plywood are used. But with sound insulation functions the WWCB density of 250—400 kg/m3 can best cope.

WHAT ARE WOOD WOOL CEMENT BOARDS

Wood wool cement boards are a composite material consisting of M500 portland cement and wood chips. Liquid glass is used as a binder. The material is harmless, resistant to insects and has a flammability group G2 (hardly combustible building materials).

COMPARISON OF WOOD WOOL CEMENT BOARDS AND GYPSUM BOARD

The main indicator of sound insulation quality is the sound absorption coefficient. It takes a value from 0 to 1, where 1 is the total sound absorption.

Let's compare the coefficients of WWCB and gypsum board (gypsum plasterboard) often used for sound insulation.

Table 1. Comparison of absorption coefficients of wood wool cement boards and gypsum board

A higher sound absorption coefficient is not the only advantage of the board over gypsum board:

· the board has greater bending strength - it is difficult to break;

· does not dust or crumble;

· with the same dimensions, the board is lighter than gypsum board.

ADVANTAGES OF WOOD WOOL CEMENT BOARDS IN ACOUSTIC PANELS

Acoustic panels for walls, ceilings and roof floors can be made from WWCBs. The material is mounted with screws on wooden or metal frames.

5 advantages of using our boards:

1. Environmentally friendly — odorless and toxic substances;

2. Keep heat in the room — thermal conductivity of the board with density 450 kg/m3 0.063 W/Mk.

3. Easy to install — can be processed with conventional tools.

4. Resistant to termites and other insects due to the presence of liquid glass and cement.

5. Fire safety — flammability class G2.

Our managers will answer you any questions about wood wool cement boards and help you choose the necessary material.
