ON DECEMBER 13, 2018, THE FIRST ENTERPRISE OF THE INDUSTRIAL PARK “CHEREPOVETS” WAS LAUNCHED IN THE TEST MODE

Established by Cherepovets Plywood and Furniture Plant Group, Fibroplit, Ltd, which became the first resident of the industrial park and the Priority Social and Economic Development Area (PSEDA) in Cherepovets, was the first to build its production.

The company will produce wood wool cement boards and wall panels for residential and industrial construction. Built in a year and a half, the mill will work at full capacity (106 thousand cubic meters of boards per year) in April 2019.

According to the director of the enterprise Alexander Sokolov, the basis of the production process is Dutch technology, according to which special wood chips are mixed with cement in a ratio of 60 per 39.5%, then added liquid glass.The mixture is pressed, boards are obtained, which go to daily primary exposure at a temperature of 30 degrees. On the site of disassembly of pallets there are almost ready wood wool cement panels. Then the board is sent to the drying chamber. The final stage is sanding, trimming, if necessary — painting, then packaging. The maximum width of the board is 600 millimeters, the maximum thickness is 100 millimeters, the maximum length is three meters.

As Ilya Korotkov, Acting General Director of the Cherepovets Plywood and Furniture Mill Group, Ilya Korotkov, the products of the new enterprise already have guaranteed orders abroad. The Russian market is still in the stage of formation. However, the company seems to have managed to find the first customer in the Vologda region — the administration of the Vologda district is considering the possibility to build a new paramedic-obstetric station with a residential room for a paramedic using wood wool cement boards from Cherepovets...
